Start your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and head to the famous incense village, known for its vibrant colors and featured in National Geographic. This is a perfect spot to capture stunning photos and experience a unique traditional craft.
Continue to the 300-year-old conical hat village, where you will meet local artisans and learn how these iconic Vietnamese hats are made by hand.
For the full-day option, you can choose to visit either a lacquer painting village or a ceramic village:
- Lacquer Painting Village: Discover the traditional art of Vietnamese lacquer, a meticulous process involving multiple layers and polishing techniques. You will also have a chance to create your own small lacquer piece.
- Ceramic Village: Visit a 700-year-old pottery village, explore local workshops, and try making your own ceramic product with guidance from skilled craftsmen.
Throughout the tour, you will have opportunities to interact with friendly local hosts and gain deeper insight into traditional village life.
Drop Off
Optional: Drop-off at Train Street for a unique Hanoi experience and great photo opportunities.
