Full Description
Hoa Lu – Ancient Capital: Visit the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains. Learn about the history of the Dinh and Le dynasties while exploring ancient temples.
Bai Dinh Pagoda – The Largest in Southeast Asia: Explore a massive Buddhist complex famous for its impressive scale, hundreds of statues, and peaceful spiritual atmosphere.
Tam Coc – Natural Beauty: Enjoy a relaxing boat ride through rice fields and limestone caves. Especially beautiful during the rice harvest season (around May to June), when golden fields line both sides of the river.
Trang An – UNESCO World Heritage Site: Take a scenic boat journey through a stunning landscape of rivers, caves, and mountains. The route is well-organized and offers a unique experience through cave systems formed over millions of years.
Mua Cave – “Great Wall of Vietnam”: Climb to the top for panoramic views over Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside. One of the most iconic photo spots in Ninh Binh.
Tam Coc vs Trang An
Both are incredibly beautiful and worth visiting. Trang An is a UNESCO-listed site with a more structured boat route through multiple caves, while Tam Coc feels more natural and peaceful, especially during the rice season when the scenery becomes truly spectacular.

Lana was a most wonderful guide on our tour today! We were here during Tet and the sites were extremely busy but she had local knowledge and years of guiding experience and was able to make our day amazing. “Such an amazing day exploring Ninh Binh! I booked a private tour for 4 with a guide. Our wonderful guide was Philip and our driver was Son. I chose our pickup time and location, along with which attractions we wanted to see/do in Ninh Binh. Everything was well organized and prepared, including a delicious lunch. The highlight of our day was the Tam Coc boat tour and bike riding along the local streets. Philip was a great guide and so fun to just hang out and chat with. Everything was smooth, flexible and nice. You don't need a guide for these places, you can do it perfectly by your own at any hour you want. We were lucky that at Mua Cave weren't that many people and we loved that place! We enjoyed very much our time in a relaxing way. The driver was professional, even if he doesnt speak english, we manage everything. The lunch included was very tasty. Thank you Lana and team.
